Providence’s fifth annual Dyke & Trans People of Color (DTPOC) March is tonight, Friday, June 14.
We will be gathering behind the baseball diamond at Dexter Park (Parade St. side) at 5:30 PM. All who love and support the queer women and trans folks in their life are welcome!
The DTPOC March brings queer women, trans, and nonbinary people of color together to celebrate our lives, our lost ones, and our loved ones. All queer and trans people of color are invited to attend.
This year's theme is LINEAGES OF SOLIDARITY. Taking up space as queer and trans people of color in Providence is an act of liberation. Through our kinship with each other, our chosen families, and with the land we recognize that our struggles are connected and so is our joy. This march is not only an act of resistance, but a celebration of our roots.
