Make your way over to Providence City Hall this Friday, June 7 for two exciting events celebrating Pride Month 2024!
Starting at 5:30PM, you can visit the third floor of City Hall for the opening of the Reading Rainbow Exhibit. Presented in partnership with Providence City Archives, Stages of Freedom, and Art, Culture, and Tourism, this exhibit showcases books written by gay men in Rhode Island. The exhibit will run through the months of June and July.
Starting at 6:30PM, join Mayor Smiley and City Council for the raising of the Pride flag outside of City Hall. This important symbol of the LGBTQ+ will be celebrated with city leaders and the community.
