Gen Silent -SAGE Pride Movie Series

SAGE-RI is grateful to AARP Rhode Island for the opportunity to present the acclaimed documentary ‘Gen Silent’. Filmed in nearby Massachusetts, this documentary reveals the challenges faced by the silent generation in later life. Those who fought the earliest battles for equality now confront the prospect of “returning to the closet” to avoid discrimination. This documentary celebrates their strength and resilience while highlighting the need for more inclusive senior services. There will be a moderated discussion to follow.
