Donations  to Options Newsmagazine

Although the word FREE is emblazoned on our cover, Options realizes very tangible costs in terms of dollars and labor. Before asking you to help us out with much-needed donations to support our continuing operation, we would like to give you some information.

  Options mails almost 4,000 copies of each issue to homes, businesses, colleges and community centers throughout Southeastern New England and the world, at no cost to our subscribers. Another 2,000 are distributed at various locations, also free of charge.

  Our dedicated staff, made up mostly of volunteers, puts much time and energy into creating each issue. Not including writers' efforts, each issue requires hours of research, production, list maintenance, and office and advertising management. Another 25 people spend 2 hours each month to mail each issue.

  We offer advertising space at rates that are affordable to small organizations and businesses, in an effort to fulfill our mission of building and supporting the LGBT community.

  Options brings you news that you cannot get anywhere else.  As a non-profit organization, we depend on the support of our readers and our community. It is only with your help, through donations and volunteerism, that we can continue to do the work on which our community depends.
